The website of the Supreme Court of Sweden is now also available in a new and updated English version to make it more accessible for an international audience

The website of the Supreme Court is now also available in a new and updated English version to make it more accessible for an international audience.

As well as information regarding the activities of the Court, its members and history, a selection of precedents will be translated into English. The precedents that will be translated relate mainly to areas of law of interest for the European countries, or are otherwise presumed to be of international interest. For example, some precedents regarding EU law or the European Convention will be translated. Currently, two translated precedents have been published on the website, but more translations will be published in the near future.

Naturally, the website is also intended for members of the public or legal professionals in Sweden who find it easier to read the information in English than in Swedish.

The website can be reached through https://www.domstol.se/en/supreme-court/ or www.supremecourt.se.
