Ms Katerina Stamatiou has been appointed as President of the Supreme Court of Cyprus and assumed office 1 July 2023. In 1993 Ms Stamatiou was appointed District Judge, in 2000 she was promoted to Senior District Judge and in 2004 she was promoted to District Court President. She served as President of the Assize Court of Paphos and Limassol and Administrative President of the Paphos and Limassol District Courts. President Stamatiou was appointed to the Supreme Court in September 2013.
