Career before being justice of the Supreme Court:
Justice Lindskog was, before appointed justice of the Supreme Court, barrister and partner of a well-known Swedish law firm. He was awarded the degree of Doctor of Laws at Stockholm University, and was since 1987 an associate professor of civil law. Furthermore, he has been an adjunct professor in credit law and insolvency law at the University of Gothenburg. He has published numerous articles and several books on civil law and procedural law topics. In addition, he has been the President of the Swedish Bar Association and has had assignments as an expert in various public inquiries.
