Biography and career

Education

1979–1985      Law Faculty, University of Zagreb

1998                Postgraduate study (LL.M.) in the area of international commercial law at the Zagreb Law Faculty, University of Zagreb

Career

Having graduated from the Law Faculty, University of Zagreb in 1985, Mr Dobronić started work as a judicial apprentice at the Municipal Court in Zagreb and the County Court in Zagreb. He continued his legal career at the Zagrebačka Bank in Zagreb, as Head of the Foreign Exchange Department. In 1994, he took the position of Head of the Department of Legal, Personnel and General Affairs at the State Directorate for Commodity Reserves.

Starting in 1996, Mr Dobronić worked as a Judge at the Commercial Court in Zagreb. He was appointed as President of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Croatia in October 2021 for a term of four years.
